Hi NealI didn't get an answer to my question, so Im going to fire again. The Sudbury basin is the result of a meteorite impact (~10km bolide)that struck Canada 1.8Ga ago. My question is, how can you explain that it has an oval shape rather than a typical circular shape?...The standard theory suggests that it was deformed (compressed) during the Grenville orogeny during the assembly of Pangea, your reply?

What i dont understand is that hoew come 200 million years ago they were hardly any oceans. But now over 70% of the worlds surface is covered in water? Why such a rapid growth in the last 200 million? The Earth is billions of years old!

tjbay , Disprove Pangea? The rifts on the outside edge are EXACTLY the same as the new inside edges. What were they connected to????????

Josda1000 1.Geology knows antarctica was attached to Australia up to about 60 MYA when they tore apart. 2. We KNOW Antarctica was sub tropical 200 MYA and they dig up dinosaur bones every summer in Antartica. 3. Geology provides FACTS. It's their theories that are so messed up.

Diamonddave Deduction. List the facts. Give Theories values. 1.Material is fired from the sun, it goes in all directions. It falls and spirals in, as it collects(accretes) forming crystals on a molecular level2, The GREATEST bulge area of the magnetic line is on the equatorial plane. but tilting to that plane becomes harder and harder, on it's likely eliptical slowing down the process. When they do get there, they will hit the current tenant of that line, a Planet.Many other reasons.

this video makes absolute sense, but how do you know where exactly everything was? can't antarctica throughout that whole period always have been the south pole? otherwise, i believe this video makes perfect sense

you cant disprove pangea.thats like saying the Earth doesnt have techtonic plates.we all know there are plates, therefore they move along the surface due to everything going on beneath the surface.there is no other explination.this is just how all geography starts.

Dave, Those Meteorites all out there...many are as old as the Earth. Earth GREW. They DIDN'T! Why? 1. On the magnetic lines they were a target for other material wishing to get THERE, and 2.
